Snapplies belong to the rare family of the biting mushrooms. Out of fairness, however, evolution equipped them with a horrible mug so that the frequency of the biting incidences within the last hundred years, which involved Snapplies, is almost zero. The Snapplies were actually recognized as great fly- and mosquito -traps and are now stationed close to all parties on planet Gnum. Of the many mushrooms on planet Gnum the Snapplies are considered one of the calmest. The theory exists that the Snapplies are so calm only because they only concentrate on the growth of their feet in order to be able to bite better. All attempts to explain to the mushrooms that it is senseless for mushrooms to worry about foot growth failed so far, since there are very few which dare go into the direct proximity of the mushrooms and one gets no attention from the distance.
